THIS was the moment when Judd Trump became the winner of snooker’s new televised tournament The World Grand Prix last year after beating his idol.
After suffering to the hands of Ronnie O’Sullivan in the Champion of Champions and UK Championship just months before, it was third time lucky for Trump who came back from behind to take the £100,000 title.
Trump came back from 4-1 and 7-4 down to lift his second major title of the 2014/15 season after winning the Australian Open at the start of the campaign.
The 2016 World Grand Prix will be a ranking event for the first time and kicks off on Tuesday.
