Seven times world snooker champion Stephen Hendry stars in ITV Sport’s new trailer for its live coverage of the Champion of Champions tournament.

The Scot, regarded as one of the most successful players in the sport, is the main star in the promo advert and is seen talking about what makes a truly great champion in sport.

The Champion of Champions starts on Monday (November 6) and is a week-long invitational tournament featuring 16 players who have lifted silverware during the past year.

Top players such as Ronnie O’Sullivan, Mark Selby, John Higgins and Judd Trump are just some of the famous names taking part in the annual competition which takes place inside Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.

The clip also shows champions in other sports including the late Muhammad Ali, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Manchester United legends George Best and David Beckham.

Hendry, alongside the likes of Alan McManus and Neal Foulds, will be providing commentary and analysis on ITV4 throughout the week.
