Mark Selby is world champion once again.
‘The Jester from Leicester’ beat Shaun Murphy 18-15 on Monday night to win the World Championship for the fourth time in his career – following his wins in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
The now world number 2 pocketed £500,000 for his victory in a match he dominated for most parts despite Murphy’s attempts to force a dramatic comeback late on.
