In this form, it will take a lot to stop Mark Allen getting his hands on another trophy this week.
Just days after winning the International Championship, Mark Allen continued his superb run of form to power his way into the Champion of Champions semi-finals.
And he did it in style – which nobody should be surprised about following his warning to his rivals that his best game was coming back.
The Northern Ireland star hit two century breaks to defeat Barry Hawkins 4-2 in the afternoon game before a sensational display of snooker saw him thrash Neil Robertson in the evening’s Group 3 final.
Both Allen and Robertson faced each other in the International Championship grand final on Sunday but no different day, tournament or venue could stop Allen securing another big win over the Australian.

Allen made breaks of 119, 102, 123, 98 and 75 in an impressive 6-1 win.
The in-form star will once again meet Kyren Wilson in Saturday’s semi-final. The pair faced each other in The Masters final at the start of the year which Allen won.
The first semi-final takes place on Friday night between Shaun Murphy and Ronnie O’Sullivan – a repeat of last year’s Champion of Champions final..
