Kyren Wilson produced two world class displays on the same day as he stormed his way into the Champion of Champions semi-finals.
The Englishman produced one of his best days of snooker in his entire career on Wednesday with two stunning wins against two of the world’s best players.
This year’s Masters finalist upset the odds book to defeat world champion Mark Williams 4-1 and then in the evening outclassed Judd Trump in every department to win the Group final 6-1.
The displays once again showed Wilson’s huge potential and will he now wait to find out who he will play in Saturday’s semi-final.

Next up for Wilson could be world number one Mark Selby who will be playing in England for the first time tomorrow (Thursday) since the devastating helicopter crash which happened in his home city of Leicester a fortnight ago. He faces Australian Neil Robertson in the afternoon.
Or Wilson could meet International Championship winner Mark Allen who plays Barry Hawkins in the afternoon match. Allen beat Wilson to lift the Masters at the start of the year.
