Luca Brecel continued his best season ever after he made his first ever 147 on the professional circuit.

The Belgian, who earlier this season won his first major ranking event in the China Championship, made the maximum in his Championship League encounter against John Higgins.

Brecel, currently ranked 11th in the world, made the perfect break in the third frame to wrap up a 3-0 win in Coventry.

It’s the 136th 147 in snooker history and the fifth of the season.

Other players to make a 147 this season include Liang Wenbo, Kyren Wilson, Cao Yupeng and Martin Gould.
