Women’s snooker is back this weekend as the best in world compete to be British Open champion.

World champion Ng On Yee from Hong Kong and ten-times world champion Reanne Evans are the front runners for the title which is one of the biggest events in the Women’s snooker calendar.
This is the last main event before the Women’s World Championship which will be held in Malta in March.
The top eight players in the world are all in action including: On Yee, Reanne Evans, Maria Catalano, Rebecca Kenna, Laura Evans, Wan Ka Kai, Suzie Opacic and Diana Schuler.
They will be joined by 17 other players looking to find form and earn vital ranking points ahead of next month’s World Championship.
The opening round will see 23 of the 25 players battle it in the group stage with the the top two players in each group making the last 16 joining Ng On Yee and Reanne Evans who are guaranteed a knockout stage spot.
The event takes place in Stourbridge in England.
