After a few months break, The Old Green Baize is back and we are all excited about what the new season will bring.

Already it has seen a great story with Welshman Ryan Day scooping his first career major ranking title by winning in Latvia at the end of June.

The big question is who can stop Mark Selby in the coming months? Selby won his third world Championship title in May and is currently world number one by a distance. Will the remaining pack close the gap in what will sure be a fascinating 2017 campaign?

The Old Green Baize has been a big success since its launch in 2012 and we will look to grow even bigger during the course of the season. Snooker now is arguably popular than ever before with players benefiting from more tournaments and record prize money.
