Kyren Wilson says he is concentrating on winning the World Championship ahead of his quarter-final battle with John Higgins.
The world number 14 will meet the four-times world champion knowing victory will mean a place in the semi-finals and the famous Crucible one table set up for the first time.
And Wilson showed just why he has bagged a second consecutive World Championship quarter-final appearance by successfully attempting Shaun Murphy’s stunning trick shot pot on the red to the centre pocket against Ronnie O’Sullivan.
Afterwards he told World Snooker: “I believe I can win it, I’m not here to make up the numbers.
“It’s going to be very tough because a four-time world champion stands in my way but I’m still battling away. It’s a great place to be.
“I know John played very well in the last round against Mark Allen and I know I’ve got it all to do.”
Wilson and Higgins have only met once before in a minor ranking event at Germany which Wilson won 4-1.
