Marco Fu secured a place in the World Championship quarter-finals in dramatic style after beating Neil Robertson in a nail-biting finish.
The Hong Kong star came back from 10-8 down to win 13-11 in an absorbing match which had several twists and turns throughout.
But Fu, bidding to win the world title for the first time, got over the winning line after Robertson missed a crucial final black for the yellow pocket in the 24th frame.
The Australian’s pivotal miss allowed Fu to clinch victory when he potted the very thin black towards the same pocket from the side cushion.
It was another memorable match for Fu who in the opening round came back from 7-1 down to beat Luca Brecel via a final frame decider.
Fu will next play Mark Selby in the quarters after the reigning champion wasted little time earlier in the day to book his place in the last eight, beating Xiao Guodong 13-6.
Also through to the next round was Barry Hawkins who comfortably beat former world champion Graeme Dott by the same scoreline.
