World Snooker has announced tickets for next year’s World Championship at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre will go on sale next month.

Tickets for matches will be available to buy from 9am on Monday May 1 – the day of this year’s climax to the Championship.

And following high demand year after year, snooker fans have been urged to book quickly to avoid disappointment.

A statement on World Snooker’s website reads: “Seats at snooker’s theatre of dreams have never been in higher demand, so make sure you are quick off the mark when tickets are released on the day of this year’s final.”
