The Australian got revenge on the man who sent him packing at Sheffield just two months ago by beating Michael Holt 5-2 in the Riga Masters final.
Victory gave Robertson the £37,500 winning prize and his 12th ranking title.
The former world champion, came back from 2-1 down in the final before winning four frames on the bounce to get his hands on the trophy.
Prior to reaching the final, Robertson thrashed Darren Morgan 5-0 in the semi-finals after he beat Judd Trump in the last eight.
Despite losing the final, Holt can be very pleased with the start he has made to the season after beating Mark Selby and Stuart Bingham on route to the final.
This follows on from his impressive wins towards the end of last season against Robertson and Ronnie O’Sullivan.
