THIS was the moment when Ronnie O’Sullivan once again wrote his name in snooker’s history books.
The five-times world champion made the perfect start in his Dafabet Masters quarter-final against Marco Fu by knocking in his 776th centurybreak of his career – a new record.
The brilliant opening frame century saw O’Sullivan top the charts in the number of career centuries made – overtaking seven-times world champion Stephen Hendry who made 775.
O’Sullivan went on to win the match 6-1 and secure a place in the semi-final stages.
