WORLD Snooker chairman Barry Hearn has revealed he is considering giving Steve Davis a special wildcard so he can remain on tour.
Six-times world champion Davis was relegated from the main tour last week after losing to Craig Steadman in the World Championship Qualifiers – ending his 36-year run as a professional player.
But that run could be extended if snooker’s top boss Hearn were to give Davis a reprieve as a result of his achievements in the game.
What do you think? Should Davis be given a wildcard? Vote below and we’ll let you the know results at the end of the day!
