MARK Selby made snooker history on Saturday when he made the sport’s 100th official 147 maximum break in tournament play.
Selby was leading Ricky Walden 4-2 in the second UK Championship semi-final when the world number 2 made the historic landmark.
The final moments show the crowd roar on Selby to pot a difficult black into the middle pocket from the most tricky of angles.
Six-times world champion Steve Davis made the very first 147 back in 1982.
